It's hard to critique this, since I don't really know what golden pedal does. Let me assume they're a racing company, since that would fit with the "peda" and the "go!" lockup.

Generally I like type-driven logos, and I really want to like this one. However, there are a few issues that bug me about it.

First, the ligature between the g and the o. This is unnatural, and it looks like a "g" and "p" blended together simply because of the font you chose (looks like century gothic). Since the font is so geometric, the o is going to look like a p when given a descender like that. It's just part of the font.

Speaking of the font, century gothic is another one of those "default" fonts that everybody uses. Default fonts look default, these days. It's kinda like being given a watercolor set that comes with primary colors and not bothering to look for new colors or mixing your own, and just sticking with what you were given. It looks lazy, in a way, which is why I always, always, always recommend digging around for new fonts so your work can stay fresh-looking.

Lastly, I'm confused as to why you have a secondary lockup as opposed to a mark that can be used on its own. Secondary type lockups rarely work very well, and I don't think the "go!" lockup has the strength to live on its own.
